Mennel Leadership Mentoring Programme is a specialized independent affiliate. It is an initiative that provides professional capacity-building and coaching to young impactful leaders.
It focuses on leadership (highlighting on self-leadership) and mentorship for young adults between the ages of 18 years and 35 years. The key objective is to reduce leadership crises, as identified by researchers.

Dr. LAUD ANTHONY BASING – Chairman of Advisory Board
Laud Anthony Basing is Scientist, Engineer, Innovator and Entrepreneur. He is a lecturer at the Department of Medical Diagnostics, KNUST and the Founder and CEO of Incas diagnostics. Laud Anthony is passionate about research, and with a background in both Microbiology and Biomedical Engineering, Laud Anthony’s research interest has been in developing simple tests for infectious diseases that largely impact women and children in Africa. He has several years of research experience with international collaborations.
He worked with the University of Liverpool and researchers from 13 countries from 2009 to 2013 on a project on the effect of climate change on Health outcomes. He worked with the World Health Organization in Ghana and Papua New Guinea on yaws eradication from 2015 to 2016 and worked with the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, Purdue University in the United States to develop low cost, mobile enable test devices for HIV and Yaws.
Emmanuel Osei, -- Executive Director/ Founder
Emmanuel Osei is an International Development Professional and Development Finance Practitioner with 10 years of experience working within the United Nations system where he assists over 160 countries. He works also as a Business Developer and Consultant for SMEs. He previously worked with Databank Financial Services Limited.
He holds an MSc. Development Finance certificate. He is a trained Project Manager and a Certified Monitoring & Evaluation person. He is also a Chartered Economist with a Diploma in IT and Business Skills. Emmanuel is trained in Global Diplomacy at the University of London. He holds Master's Certificate in Executive Strategic Leadership Management. He is presently finalizing a Master in Economics and Business Administration at Aalborg University in Denmark.
Emmanuel is a well-known community development volunteer and Youth Development Expert. He has over 15 years of experience in youth leadership. He graduated as a Global Networker at the prestigious JCI (Junior Chamber International) Academy in Japan.
Emmanuel is also a Social Entrepreneur and a Certified Youth Coach/ Mentor leading the Mennel Leadership Mentoring Programme. His passion and vision are to help decrease youth unemployment in Ghana and play a major role in poverty eradication by educating youth and youth groups on financial literacy.
He is a conference speaker and facilitator. He is the National President for PENSA (Pentecost Students and Associates) Denmark and the Project Coordinator for Youth for Development Denmark. He served as the 2022 National Executive Vice President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Ghana, the Immediate Past President of Youth Impact Network (formerly known as Young African Leaders Network Ghana), a member of the UN Major Group for Children and Youth and a Fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative RLC. He is serving and has served in various roles in numerous youth organizations within the West-African region.
Pious Asante – Chief Administrator/ Board Secretary
Pious Asante is an international expert in gender and development with experience in Gender equality, women’s economic empowerment and policy analysis in the agriculture, food security and gender-responsive nutrition, and rural development. He holds a MSc in Development Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MA in Public Policy Management from Walden University in Minnesota, USA. He has almost a decade work experience in both interdisciplinary and multicultural teams, parts of which include gender expertise with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and projects manager/coordinator experience at TICSEP-Gh, and Visuals 4 Gender (a US Embassy project with Mobile Web Ghana). He has experience in working with countries and Regional Economic Communities (RECs), supporting them to conduct country Gender Profiling and other Gender-based analysis. For the last couple of years he has played the role of an Administrator and facilitator for the Mennel Leadership Mentoring Programme.
Juanita Ghartey Esubonteng -- Programme Manager
Juanita is a social development professional, deeply committed to creating positive change in the world. With a passion for community building and a strong belief in the power of collaboration, she has spent her career working to empower young people and other marginalized communities via education and social initiatives. With over 10 years of experience in human capital development, program coordination, curriculum development, research, and advocacy within the NGO sector, she is a dynamic and results-oriented professional. Her background in Psychology and Human Development and an MBA from the University of Bolton allows her to design and implement innovative learning and development solutions that meet the needs of diverse organizations. She also has proven ability to lead project teams and develop strong relationships with stakeholders. Notable achievements include developing multiple curriculums for youth-focused job readiness programs, facilitating the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Plan-NEIP in Ghana for one cohort, supporting the startup and leading the launch of 2 training-focused foundations, and producing ground-breaking research on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in Ghana, which led to the reduction of the practice in many parts of Ghana and West Africa. With a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector, she brings a unique perspective and skillset to the table. Whether its designing and implementing innovative programs, building relationships with key stakeholders, or leveraging data to drive decision-making, she is constantly seeking out new ways to make a meaningful impact.
Fofogan Doku – Programme & Bilingual Assistant
DOKU Yawo Apelete popularly known as Fofogan is an enterprising young leader, bilingual (English and French), well known sustainable community development, youth development and financial literacy advocate.
Fofogan is a certified Financial Markets Expert from Global Teletrade (Tunisia), Founder and CEO of FINC Global Investment, an investment consulting and advisory firm specialized in the global financial markets and real estate to provide the best investment solutions for investors who want to diversify their investments and attain their financial goals.
He is also the Founder and Executive Director of Village Franҫais, a volunteering organization that promotes multilingualism, interculturality, environment protection and climate action and sustainable community development.
He holds a BSc Linguistic from University of Lome (Togo), with professional certification in Radio and TV presentation from GIJ. Fofogan is passionate about intentional leadership. He is a strategic leader, graduate of Executive Strategic Leadership Management Masterclass from JAGILS and also a graduate from MLMP, a mentorship program that empower young to take meaningful actions towards their life goals, where he serves today as a Mentor. He is a certified Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation.
Fofogan, is a motivator, conference facilitator, and a trainer. He is an active JCI Ghana member awarded the most outstanding local president in 2021 where he serves as 2023 National Executive Vice President. His life goals is to call young people to intentional self-leadership and empower them to take meaningful actions to achieve their goals and contribute in building a more sustainable world for ourselves and the generation to come.
Emmanuella E.N. Adams -- Mentees Coordinator
Emmanuella Ewurafua Nyameyie Adams is a Sales Executive with expertise in business development, sales, project management and community development. Having worked for local and international organisations such in different capacities, Ms. Adams' style can best be described as versatile, purpose driven and people-centered. Her balance of technical, operational and people skills and the ability to drive teams to achieve goals and targets makes her a dynamic leader. Ms. Adams has a BSc. in Agriculture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is an alumnus of the University of Wageningen. She's a member of the Project Management Institute- Ghana, Ghana Monitoring and Evaluation Forum and a Fellow of the African Research Academy for Women as well as numerous organisations.
Ms. Natasha Apeadjei-Duodu -- Administrative Officer
Ms. Natasha Apeadjei-Duodu is a skilled development finance professional with a unique profile that includes a Graduate Diploma in Community Economic Development from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) in Accra, Ghana. She has five years of experience in the international development sector having worked for organizations such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and gaining expertise in policies and programs development, project cycle management, results-based management, gender analysis, communication, and on-the-ground experience working in African countries. Ms. Apeadjei-Duodu is a flexible and responsible team player with strong leadership skills. Her competencies include planning and organization, reporting, accountability, teamwork, continuous learning, capacity development, and respect for diversity. She has a high sense of responsibility and is able to manage daily problems while proposing a vision and a strategy with a long-term perspective. She is also a trustworthy and respectful key staff member who is able to build strong relationships with teams and partners.
